Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our technical staffing division in Peterborough, NH. We are looking for a&nbsp;<strong><u>Help Desk Technician</u></strong>&nbsp;to work on-site at our client's location. This role would predominately provide onsite helpdesk support but could also help support deployment efforts on-site from time to time. This is a contract position that will go for at least a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of extension.</p> <p><strong><u>Shift:&nbsp;</u></strong>M-F, First Shift with opportunities for occasional OT</p> <p>Hours: M-F, 8:00am-5pm.</p> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -48px; top: 26.7639px;">&nbsp;</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support remotely and over the phone.</li> <li>Provide a high level of customer and technical support to end-users.</li> <li>There will be potential that this position will have to provide hands-on help deployment tech services on site.</li> <li>Provide support over the phone for basic Active Directory, printer, hardware, and software issues.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -47px; top: 26.7639px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous experience in a help desk or desktop role is preferred.</li> <li>Certs and degrees are preferred, though not required.</li> <li>Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and printing issues relating to Windows 7/10.</li> <li>LAN/WAN, telecommunications, Active Directory Support experience.</li> <li>Previous experience providing phone support and remote technology to resolve user issues.</li> <li>Upon hiring, this person will need to pass a drug screen, background check, and get flu shot / TB test.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -91px; top: 26.7639px;">&nbsp;</div>
