Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity with one of our outstanding clients based in Memphis, TN. We are looking for an&nbsp;<strong><u>IT Support Technician</u></strong>. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY. That's right, no contract period. Perm, full time. Your position would be in the center of the IT infrastructure for our end-client.</p> <p><strong>If you are...</strong></p> <ul> <li>A "jack of all trades" and like working with a variety of technical components in the IT Infrastructure.</li> <li>Experienced with Office 365.</li> <li>Well versed in higher-tiered troubleshooting.</li> <li>A strong help desk or desktop technician looking to take the next step in your career...</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>You are the front of the line -- and the back of the line.</li> <ul> <li>Work help desk, deskside, servers, and Network support.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>You will help drive IT initiatives.</li> <li>Help manage Office 365 accounts, get hands-on with the virtual environment, and support servers.</li> <li>Act as the "right hand" to the IT Manager.</li> <li>Support employees off-site and on-site.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>IT related certifications and degrees are a plus.</li> <li>Experience performing IT support in a manufacturing environment a plus.</li> <li>Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 support experience a plus.</li> <li>VMware and / or Hyper V exposure a plus.</li> <li>Hands on experience troubleshooting network issues -- a huge plus if you've worked with Cisco products.</li> <li>Basic SQL support experience.</li> <li>Basic network support and experience providing onsite and off site technical support.</li> </ul>
