Overview: Working under minimal supervision of the Software Product Line Manager, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Security Solutions Specialist (SSS) provides pre-sale technical consulting to advise and recommends security solutions of various levels of complexity to clients. The SSS strategizes with assigned business segment sales teams to identify security solution opportunities and target accounts.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The SSS increases knowledge of security solutions, keeps abreast of changes, and maintains or achieves certifications for professional development.</li> <li>While driving awareness of security solutions, the SSS is responsible for educating the assigned selling organization on strategies and tactics to grow the security market share.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Teams and relevant internal business systems</li> <li>IT aptitude with strong desire to continually learn and apply latest technologies</li> <li>Working knowledge of CaaS partner specific technology</li> <li>Working knowledge of CaaS technologies and related product solutions</li> <li>Proven experience in technology/software partner and channel management</li> <li>High aptitude to stay current and train on related technology areas such as Server, Storage, Networking, preferred</li> <li>Customer oriented with ability to listen to and anticipate needs of the customer</li> <li>Solves a variety of problems in situations where only limited standardization exists</li> <li>Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies selling monthly based services and solutions</li> <li>Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to the customer</li> <li>Adept at providing technical solutions based on customer needs per the practice area</li> <li>Analytical with ability to assess the customer's business systems requirements</li> <li>Proven experience managing projects and delivering expectations, both internally and with clients</li> <li>Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> <li>Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions</li> <li>Action oriented with strong executional skills</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills with ability to collaborate with Account Managers and to engage customers</li> <li>Excellent time management skills</li> <li>Self-motivated and results-driven</li> <li>Strong negotiation skills</li> <li>Proven experience managing projects and delivering expectations, both internally and with clients</li> <li>Proven success at working collaboratively with sales and internal colleagues to solve technical problems</li> </ul>
