Overview: <p>Working under minimal supervision of the Director of Shipping &amp; Receiving, the&nbsp; Mgr of Fulfillment manages the nightly fulfillment operations at the Technology Integration and Distribution Center (TIDC), primarily the Shipping and Material Handling teams, as well as providing management support to all the functional areas until the close of business each day. Ensures that all of the TIDC's many sales support commitments are met. Works closely with senior TIDC management to maintain fulfillment operations that are accurate, efficient, and cost-effective. Coordinates the activities of the Cycle Count Program. The hours for this position are afternoon/evening hours.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <span style="text-decoration: underline;">DAILY OPERATIONS</span><br /><br />Supports Shipping Supervisors and the other functional areas to ensure all shippable orders are completed by the end of the shipping day. Ensures the cycle count program is being properly leveraged to support a healthy inventory.<br /><br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">STAFF MANAGEMENT</span><br /><br />Provides direction and support to 3rd Shift Distribution Supervisor to ensure the team completes the location of all inbound receipts and processes the daily replenishments by end of their shift. Handles all assigned employee HR/Payroll related activities in a timely and accurate manner including weekly time and attendance monitoring and approval; hiring, performance management, and employee relations.<br /> <br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP STAFF</span><br /><br />Coaches and counsels leadership Individuals to advance their skills and abilities so that they can support the Company's service offerings and fulfillment capabilities in the coming years.<br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">MANAGERIAL RESOURCE</span><br /><br />Provides direction and support to any active teams when required to ensure that all teams are able to meet the daily commitments of fulfilling customer orders.<br /> <br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ATTENDANCE</span><br /><br />Employees are required to be present to perform the functions of this position.
