Overview: <p>Working under the general supervision of the Senior Manager of Technical Sales, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, the Apple Partner Development Specialist oversees the planning and execution of all aspects of the ongoing Apple programs to drive opportunities and revenue within the Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG). Key areas of responsibility include the marketing of the programs, reporting metrics inclusive of profitability, and educating the ESG sales teams and resources. Additionally, the Apple PDS is responsible for remaining abreast of the Apple programs, technology solutions, and market trends within the supported portfolio.</p>
Responsibilities: <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Program Marketing</span></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Engages Apple BDM within ESG to review and align Apple and Connection objectives.</li> <li>Develops, implements, and executes internal and external marketing programs designed to support and drive the sales growth objectives. Specifically, Back Margin contract requirements, MDF plans, and enablement plans (BEP, SEED.)</li> </ul> <br /><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Reporting and Analysis</span></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Reviews, compiles, and disseminates reports daily and weekly metrics relative to program performance (ie. profitability, successes, opportunities) to internal and external teams, including executive-level engagement.</li> <li>With input from the Apple BDM-ESG, creates a gap plan to support the sales growth objectives.</li> <li>Understands, reviews, and follows up on presales Apple pricing programs to ensure competitive advantage for Connection; and maximize profitability.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Training</span></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Spends time developing skillset on Apple product line and its capabilities. Has a specific understanding of part numbers and product sets.</li> </ul>
