Overview: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new service business opportunities and key service trends in the assigned USA geography. The Manager is responsible for the growth of services within the existing customer base and winning new accounts with services-led sales. The Manager provides territory intelligence and is the "go-to" key resource for service opportunity development for the sales team. The Manager identifies, forecasts, and pursues services opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from opportunity creation to the close of the sale.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Manager is responsible for the services revenue and gross profit goals for the assigned USA region.</li> <li>The Manager works daily in an effort to develop and deliver Enterprise service value proposition, assists the assigned USA sales team to generate sales and grow their customer base, while also developing and maintaining strong executive relationships throughout the IT channel.</li> <li>In conjunction with the Director of Business Development, the Regional VP of Sales, assigned USA sales team, and other senior management, the Manager develops and executes key account strategies with a common goal of building Enterprise services sales to exceed quarterly goals and quotas.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Computer Science preferred</li> <li>Minimum of 6 years experience in technology sales</li> <li>Negotiation skills with ability to close sales</li> <li>Experience with Account Management including generating new orders, ramp up run-rate where it can be handed</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, respond to rapid change, manage projects, manage detail, manage people and resources, set realistic and achievable goals/objectives and timelines</li> <li>Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)</li> <li>Adept at proactively finding business opportunities within existing customer base</li> <li>IT sales experience with an emphasis on developing and growing customer accounts</li> <li>Strong presentation skills</li> <li>Organized to have the ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> <li>Strategic thinker in future-oriented terms who anticipates and considers external and internal elements with ability to develop long-term plans to leverage resources</li> </ul>
