Overview: Working under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, VL Contracts, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Associate Volume Licensing Contracts Specialist operates through a call center structure and acts as a second-level resource various Sales affiliates. Primary duties include the creation and submittal of entry-level customer-specific contracts for PCC's Tier 1 vendors and managing the data generated by the customer agreements. Handles entry-level purchasing activities based on the customer-vendor contracts/agreements and program rules for an assigned business segment. Licensing and contract support effort includes a reactive focus on customer-specific opportunities, while a proactive focus is applied to developing resources, reports, and training for Sales and the Volume Licensing Team.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Associate VL Contracts Specialist spends part of on the job time training with the VL team.</li> <li>The Associate maintains personal knowledge of vendor programs and contract procedures within the assigned segment in order to make educated decisions that ensure licensing meets both vendor program and company audit compliance.</li> <li>The Associate Licensing Contracts Specialist uses knowledge and experience to develop internal processes and documentation which limits liability to both the customer and Connection in terms of revenue loss, inability to sell vendor programs, and associated fines.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Working knowledge of volume licensing contracts with ability to process entry level Microsoft contracts.</li> <li>Routine problem solver in situations where most problems have occurred before and solutions are familiar.</li> <li>Basic to intermediate understanding of sales or product procurement operations with ability to follow and improve processes within a vendor segment while maintaining set controls.</li> <li>Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials</li> <li>Discreet with demonstrated ability to work in a confidential executive environment using good judgment while acting as an ambassador for the company</li> <li>Process change agent with the ability to identify process improvements and system enhancements in a changing environment</li> </ul> Intermediate reasoning skills with ability to follow established processes and controls
