Overview: <br /> <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity with one of our outstanding clients based in Hazlet, NJ. They are looking for a solid&nbsp;<strong><u>Helpdesk Technician</u></strong>. This is a&nbsp;<strong><u>Perm Role</u></strong>&nbsp;with our end client.</p> <p><strong>SHIFT:&nbsp;</strong>M-F; 8:00am-5:00pm<br /><br /></p> <p><strong><u>Who you are:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 2 years of experience in enterprise-type IT support role.</li> <li>Experienced with remote and desk-side support.</li> <li>Looking for a long-term employment solution -- work and grow in one place!</li> <li>Some occasional travel to NYC to other office.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Provide a combination of phone and deskside support to end-users.</li> <li>Communicate technical issues/solutions to non-technical end-users.</li> <li>Provide basic administration to the Active Directory environment.</li> <li>Provide software/application support to systems in the office as applicable.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Certifications and/or degrees a plus.</li> <li>1-2 years of experience doing helpdesk or deskside supporting a corporate environment.</li> <li>Solid understanding of Active Directory -- adding/removing users and permissions at minimum.</li> <li>Some interest/experience providing network support.</li> <li>Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.</li> <li>Strong customer service orientation.</li> <li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.</li> <li>Occasional visits to NY office.</li> </ul>
