Overview: Working under minimal supervision of the VP, Microsoft, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Strategic Software Consultant effectively penetrates and drives Connection "XLO" solutions within targeted accounts and expands penetration in existing accounts. The Consultant is a solution provider enhancing the engagement with customers and prospects in new business opportunities. The Consultant works closely with all Connection's selling subsidiaries to deliver quality XLO engagements that establish customer intimacy and increase revenues. <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -39px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Consultant develops and works on problems/projects of deep, diverse complexity and scope.</li> <li>The Consultant acts as a project leader providing direction, facilitating information, and validating decision processes.</li> <li>The Consultant has a passion for technology and is dedicated to providing investment solutions to organizations with integrity and a keen appreciation of the business and technical requirements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales or business development</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent analytical skills, and advanced competency in Microsoft Excel</li> <li>Practical work experience with Microsoft Software Licensing</li> <li>Practical work experience with Technology Solutions</li> <li>Practical work experience with Cloud Solutions</li> <li>Competent in Microsoft Sales</li> <li>Excellent time management, communication, prioritization and negotiation skills</li> <li>Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies</li> <li>Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the XLO value proposition</li> <li>Excellent C-level presentation skills</li> <li>Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Team oriented</li> <li>Microsoft SAM certification, other relevant Microsoft Sales competency certifications</li> <li>This is a remote position with up to 50% travel to customer sites</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -59px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
