Overview: <br />The Business Systems Analyst performs business needs analysis through interaction with key business partners and subject matter experts to discover, elicit, document, and validate business objectives and requirements.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <br />Understands business process and translates business requirements into functional design including functional specifications, use cases, user stories, system flow diagrams, or other forms of documentation as needed. Builds consensus among key stakeholders to obtain agreements on business requirements and functional specification design. Understands the business model to facilitate business process redesign to address changing business requirements, drive efficiencies, or accommodate system-related changes. Works closely with the Project Managers, IT development teams, and Quality Assurance to foster understanding of the requirements and testing approach, and to ensure quality, on-time delivery. Provides L2/L3 support including process troubleshooting, quality assurance testing, functional testing, and regression testing to resolve application process issues.
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience, and a minimum of 7 years experience, which includes a minimum of 5 years of work experience in progressively responsible roles in a business environment to include a leadership role in a business process design involving technology either as a business systems analyst or in a similar role.</li> <li>Working knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards E1) and Microsoft Office Suite including Visio required.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <div><strong><u>Business Knowledge<br /><br /></u></strong></div> <ul> <li>Strong presentation and communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate business requirements, model business systems workflow, and define system behavior in written design documents.</li> <li>Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills with an attention to detail.</li> <li>Proven track record of successful engagement in the discovery and elicitation of business objectives, requirements, and execution of related documentation, systems analysis, and design specifications on software development and IT infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Proven track record as an influencer of a business process design</li> <li>Knowledge of&nbsp;J.D. Edwards Enterprise One 9.x preferred</li> </ul>
