Overview: <br /> <p>Grow and advance your IT career as a contractor with Connection. We have a junior-level position available in High Point, NC. We are looking for a&nbsp;<strong><u>Help Desk Analyst</u></strong>. This is a&nbsp;<strong>contract&nbsp;</strong>opportunity that will last about 3-6 months with the possibility of going perm or extension.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong><u>What We Offer:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Benefits on the first of the month following 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;day of employment.</li> <li>Bi-weekly paychecks on W-2.</li> <li>Consistent work -- 40 hours a week: COUNT ON IT!</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Who You Are:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>A mid to entry-level tech with previous experience supporting hardware and Office applications.</li> <li>Looking for an opportunity to prove oneself in a 3-6 month period of time.</li> <li>Looking to gain meaningful technical experience in an enterprise environment.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Provide a high level of customer and technical support.</li> <li>Support will predominantly be hands-on; though at times, you will also be helping people remotely and over the phone.</li> <li>Accurate record keeping and prioritizing of incidents and how you went about resolving them.</li> <li>Escalating issues when necessary.</li> <li>Be reliable, self-driven, with a willingness to develop documents and processes to help end-users.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>1+ years of experience with Windows O/S, MS Office, Windows Server, and Active Directory.</li> <li>Certification (A+ or Network+) or Associate's Degree is preferable.</li> <li>Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and printing issues.</li> <li>Basic LAN/WAN understanding.</li> <li>Previous experience providing phone support and remote technology to resolve user issues.</li> <li>Continual professional development and thirst to advance one's self in the industry.</li> </ul>
