Overview: The Manager, Quality Assurance TIDC, working under the general supervision of the Director, OE/QA, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals for quality assurance (QA) at the Technology Integration and Distribution Center (TIDC). Manages a QA team and provides oversight of processing functions relative to the quality of work performed with a primary focus on value-added service fulfillment.
Responsibilities: The QA Manager works with the TIDC management team in an ongoing review of departmental procedures, practices, and policies to identify opportunities to improve operational quality and reduce the risk for error. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, the QA Manager provides feedback and reporting on discovered issues, recommends solutions, and works with TIDC management to implement effective quality controls. In line with the quality improvements and operations, the Manager ensures follow-up on quality controls and provides training as needed. <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -310px; top: 26.7639px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and work experience</li> <li>Certifications held in either ISO or Six Sigma applications at a Green Belt level</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to create detailed reports using Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail for quality adherence</li> <li>Ability to research, investigate and problem-solve issues working with cross functional teams.</li> <li>Ability to think critically and methodically.</li> <li>Well versed in the administration of a quality control program in a production or processing environment</li> <li>Direct hands on experience maintaining or upgrading a Quality Management Standard such as ISO 9001:2015</li> <li>Well-developed analytical and problem resolution skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of FMEA, SPC, CAPA, DOE</li> <li>Proven experience working with teams in the planning and implementation of large projects.</li> <li>Working knowledge of processes and procedures</li> <li>Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving tools</li> <li>Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data, systematic and rational</li> <li>Organized with ability to document activities, identify problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> <li>Good listening skills with ability to receive information completely and understand what is being said</li> <li>Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication</li> <li>Certifications held in either ISO or Six Sigma applications higher than Green Belt level</li> <li>Prefer one of the following ASQ Certifications: CQM, CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE</li> </ul>
