Then join us and be an integral part of our Managed Services Cloud Sales team. Connection is looking for a motivated individual to help increase our cloud business and help us increase our customer's cloud adoption regardless of platform. We are now hiring a Business Development Specialist (BDS) who will report directly to the Manager, of Microsoft Cloud Program Operations.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The BDS will be the Managed Services Subject Matter expert and be responsible for filling the Managed Services pipeline alongside the Microsoft Center of Excellence and the various Sales teams across all three divisions.</li> <li>Connection has recently obtained its Azure Expert MSP Status and is also a Google Premier Partner.</li> <li>Managed services is a major focus for Connection, and we are looking for the right candidate to help grow the business!</li> <li>General understanding of cloud technology is preferable, but not required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Cisco WebEx, and relevant internal business systems.</li> <li>IT aptitude with strong desire to continually learn and apply latest technologies.</li> <li>Working knowledge of vendor-specific technology.</li> <li>Working knowledge of respective practice area technologies and related product solutions.</li> <li>High aptitude to stay current and train in related technology areas.</li> <li>Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies.</li> <li>Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to the customer.</li> <li>Adept at providing IT solutions based on customer needs.</li> <li>Proven experience managing projects and delivering expectations, both internally and with clients.</li> <li>Action-oriented with strong execution skills.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills with ability to collaborate with Account Managers and to engage customers.</li> <li>Highly self-motivated and results-driven.</li> <li>Excellent time management skills.</li> </ul>
