Overview: The Google Chrome and Hardware Solutions Specialist will ensure customers understand the business capabilities of Chrome OS, Chrome Browser, and Chrome devices, freeing IT to power cloud workforces. These solutions aim to simplify computing for the end-user by providing enterprises with an easily manageable, secure, and modern browsing experience.&nbsp; The Google Chrome and Hardware Solutions Specialist provides pre-sale technical consulting to alleviate any complexity clients endure. The CSS strategizes with assigned business segment sales teams to identify solution opportunities and target accounts.&nbsp; The CSS increases knowledge of Google Chrome OS and Google Hardware in the respective practice area keeps abreast of changes, and maintains or achieves certifications for professional development.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Pre-Sales Technical Consulting</strong></span><br /><br />Utilizing the tools and engineering partners available, conducts assessments to understand client challenges and business objectives as it relates to Google Chrome OS and Google Devices. Designs and presents technical solution configurations based on client needs and solution pricing while recommending applicable services as part of the overall client solution.<br /><br />&middot; Collaborates with partners to design technical solutions as needed.<br /><br />&middot; Advises on pricing programs and deal registration.<br /><br />&middot; Serves as subject matter expert to Account Managers on Google Chrome OS and Google Devices.<br /><br />&middot; Engages Connection Technology Practices to ensure optimal results for the client based on the opportunity<br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Business Development</strong></span><br /><br />Collaborates with Account Managers and Sales Leadership to identify Google Chrome OS and Google Device opportunities and target accounts through proactive engagement. <br /><br />&middot; Leverages Company and external tools to identify strategic prospects for advanced technology solutions.<br /><br />&middot; Engages in customer and prospect calls to discover and qualify advanced technology opportunities within these accounts.<br /><br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Professional Development</strong></span><br /><br />Increases knowledge of Google Chrome OS and Google Hardware Devices, applications and services, keeps abreast of trends and market conditions, and maintains and/ or achieves certifications for professional development.<br /><br />&middot; Attends applicable industry and manufacturer training sessions to increase knowledge in respective practice area.<br /><br />&middot; Achieves vendor certifications through online or onsite training.
Requirements: <ul> <li>5 years of experience with sales/account management.</li> <li>Consultative selling, partner management, or sales pipeline management experience.</li> <li>Business strategy and stakeholder management experience.</li> <li>Preferred qualifications:</li> <li>8 years of experience in a quota carrying technology sales role</li> <li>Experience working together with channel partners to meet strategic business goals.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of Google solutions, cloud applications, mobile devices, and browsers.</li> <li>Ability to understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.</li> <li>Ability to promote products to CXO's across multiple verticals with focus on large Enterprise accounts.</li> </ul>
