Overview: <br />Interested in developing the content that drives creative and compelling campaigns, programs, and thought leadership for Connection? As a Content Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with colleagues across the company to define an integrated content marketing strategy that aligns with Connection's brand messaging and speaks to buyer problems and industry themes to drive the buyer's journey.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead a collaborative process of ongoing content strategy development, editorial calendar management, review processes, and other activities related to the content lifecycle (development through retirement).</li> <li>Understand and help implement customer journey, and target content specific to the entire customer lifecycle, from top-of-funnel lead through renewal and up-sell.</li> <li>Optimize messaging and marketing strategy based on campaign and promotion results. Ensure tracking mechanisms are in place for reporting purposes.</li> <li>Ensure content generated by members of the sales, engineering, and product management teams consistently align to brand and voice standards.</li> <li>Support demand generation programs with content designed to increase opportunities.</li> <li>Foster strong engagement and healthy cooperative partnerships with internal stakeholders, including product line, digital marketing, sales, and business leaders to understand relevant technology trends and customer needs.</li> <li>Work with internal and external writers to manage the creation of web and email content, blogs, podcasts, case studies, white papers, and other marketing collateral.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline.</li> <li>Minimum of 8 years experience working in marketing.</li> <li>Experience working with technology manufacturers in a channel marketing model.</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including proficiency in PowerPoint and advanced Excel skill with the ability to utilize spreadsheets, reporting, database, and word processing applications.</li> <li>Marketing strategy with the ability to understand strategic objectives for marketing and develop plans to facilitate the obtainment of identified objectives.</li> <li>Solid critical thinking and analytical skills.</li> <li>Experience driving initiatives from conception through to completion.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a track record of successfully influencing stakeholders.</li> <li>Collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally and across all levels of an organization.</li> <li>Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.</li> <li>Organized with the ability to multi-task and adhere to aggressive deadlines.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with item by item focus, meticulous attention to detail with the ability to proofread for accuracy.</li> <li>Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership.</li> <li>Experience with marketing automation platforms, specifically Marketo.</li> <li>This role is hybrid working from our Merrimack&nbsp;office a few days a week and remote the rest of the week.</li> </ul>
