Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Solution and Services division for a Project Support Coordinator. This is a customer service agent role that sets up the Field Technicians to work on our short-term PMO projects. This is a 3-6 month contract, opportunity working with us at Connection with the potential to go permanent. The role will primarily be remote and may have to come to the Schaumburg, IL office for 1-2 weeks of training.</p> <p>SHIFT: 7am-4pm OR 8am-5pm CT</p> <p>We at Connection offer terrific benefit options for our W2 contractors that start on the first day of the month!</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Performing administrative functions as needed including entering information correctly in database, approving tech expenses, managing messages and building spreadsheets.</li> <li>Create Work Orders (WO) for technicians based on parameters provided by the PM to meet the Client's technician requirements.</li> <li>Select techs from pool of available techs based on review of their profile</li> <li>Schedule techs within g the Client's time frame and technician availability. Handle foreseen and unforeseen schedule changes.</li> <li>Track arrival and departure time</li> <li>Ensure techs are performing the tasks per the WO.</li> <li>Obtain all the necessary documentation from the techs to complete the work.</li> <li>Assist in the support of the techs onsite. Answer questions and/or escalate for proper support</li> <li>Approve the work based on deliverables successfully matching the work to be performed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>2+ years of working experience.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills - customer-focused disposition.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.</li> <li>Experience Outlook and Microsoft Suite: Teams, Word, Excel.</li> <li>Previous recruiting or interviewing experience is a plus.</li> <li>Basic IT knowledge is helpful.</li> <li>Ability to work and stay motivated independently.</li> <li>Previous experience with dispatch is a plus.</li> </ul>
