Overview: <br />Working under minimal supervision of the Technical Services Project Manager, the Sr. Project Coordinator, Configuration Services functions primarily as the coordinator of all provisioning service projects and develops the internal plan for executing projects within the Technical Services area by working with all associated teams. The Sr. Project Coordinator is the primary liaison between Sales and Services, from discovery to production orders to ensure timely and successful application of services for customers' orders. The Sr. Project Coordinator ensures sales teams are kept updated on the lifecycle status of all service orders during the discovery to the production phase. With direction as needed from the Technical Services Project Manager, the Sr. Project Coordinator provides overall project guidance to team members.
Responsibilities: <br /> <p><strong><u>Project/Order Coordination:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinates projects with Technical Services team from discovery to production and provides updates for all pre-production orders in configuration lab. Serves as first point of contact for all requests (costing, discovery, RFP).</li> <li>Works directly with sales for Discovery to Production ready - main point of contact</li> <li>Schedules Discovery calls</li> <li>Completes all costing and RFP requests</li> <li>Collects all paperwork and ensures it is completed before FAB (first article build)</li> <li>Works with Solution Architect on SOW (statement of work)</li> <li>Ensures design Spec is completed by Solution Architect</li> <li>Assists Case Specialist on case creation, SOW creation for FAB, and Production order</li> <li>Assists in FAB Approval</li> </ul> <p><strong><u><br />Scheduling:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Reviews and schedules daily work of Imaging team for all test units and production scheduling for FAB.</li> <li>Ensures work is being completed by SLA's (service level agreements)</li> <li>Sends communication updates to customer and sales</li> <li>Works with Production scheduling for FAB order.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u><br />Project Management and Guidance:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensures project coordination teams are informed of status of current projects.</li> <li>Assists in training case specialist</li> <li>Provides management with input regarding improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Gathers all KPI (key performance indicator) data and provides report to management team.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u><br />Communication:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Serves as main liaison between TIDC and Sales for all discovery to FAB order process. Provides updates on FAB orders to Sales and Sales Operations.</li> <li>Coordinates conference call overviews on all configuration orders with sales.</li> <li>Works with sales team to problem solve scheduling conflicts.</li> <li>Participates in customer conference calls to define services and schedules</li> </ul> <div>Regular hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with overtime as needed.</div>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong><u>Education and Experience:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of work experience in progressively responsible roles in a sales, customer service or support environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u><br />Technology:<br /><br /></u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Technical aptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word to include advanced formatting, creating spreadsheets to include the use of macros.</li> <li>Working knowledge of applications used to manage and track projects from Discovery to production.</li> <li>General working knowledge tools to create SWO (Service Work Order) and change control</li> </ul> <p><u><br /><strong>Business Knowledge:</strong><br /><br /></u></p> <ul> <li>Order processing with understanding of the lifecycle of a customer order.</li> <li>Knowledge of sales organization and sales process.</li> <li>Understanding of Supply Chain Management process.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of the project coordination process, including a clear understanding of the role played by each team.</li> </ul> <p><u><br /><strong>Other Behavioral Competencies:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Organized with ability to complete priorities and deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with ability to converse in a professional manner with customers, ask difficult questions that are critical to project success, and question answers provided by production resources.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with ability to drill down several layers to get the core issues.</li> <li>Sound problem solving and critical thinking abilities.</li> <li>Flexible in adapting to changing conditions and priorities.</li> </ul>
