Overview: Working under minimal supervision of the Manager of the PMO, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the TIDC Program Manager is responsible for managing internal and external customer relationships for multiple, related projects in a coordinated way, achieving benefits that could not occur if the projects were handled separately.
Responsibilities: The TIDC Program Manager focuses on long term business objectives, key initiatives, and process improvements including internal operations as related to overall strategic objectives and as aligned with TIDC and/or customer requirements. The TIDC Program Manager coordinates projects with internal Connection team members and our customers.
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Computer Science, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>PMP Preferred</li> <li>Proven experience as a Project or Program Manager or other managerial position</li> <li>Good understanding of project/program management methodologies</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced user skills for Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Skype, SharePoint)</li> <li>Working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.)</li> <li>Working knowledge of Webex with ability to participate and host virtual meetings.</li> <li>Working knowledge of PowerPoint with ability to create and edit presentations</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability is required to effectively interact at all levels of management internally and with customers.</li> <li>Excellent written communication skills with ability to compose professional business communications via email, letter and proposals.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to present professional presentations.</li> <li>Detail oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy</li> <li>Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities</li> <li>Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization</li> <li>Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data, systematic and rational</li> <li>Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities</li> <li>Conceptual with ability to conceive mentally, formulate ideas, use imagination to achieve results</li> <li>Decisive with ability to make a prompt determination and substantiate decision if challenged.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving ability</li> </ul>
