Overview: The Accounts Acquisition Representative -- Lenovo, is responsible for identifying, profiling, prospecting and generating new Lenovo business leads/orders for sales on Lenovo's line of products. Works closely with Business Development Managers and Field Sales Reps to open new Lenovo accounts and grow new revenues over time. Profiling and Prospecting is a big part of this role, using both telephone and email. Equally important is engaging field sales resources and coordinating webinars and onsite client sales meetings that lead to new orders.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Utilize Connection Enterprise's prospect data base to Identify and profile targeted prospects and establish contact with the appropriate IT buyer(s) and Business Managers</li> <li>Explain the general benefits of Connection's value proposition and business solutions.</li> <li>Promote Connection's partnership arrangement with Lenovo.</li> <li>Provide prospects with Lenovo' product information, benefits and comparisons</li> <li>Generate prospect's interest level so that a follow up meeting can be arranged with a BDM</li> <li>Work with BDM's and Field Reps to start-up and manage new Lenovo accounts, generate new orders, ramp up run-rate where it can be handed off to a National Account Manager.</li> <li>Follow up with the prospect on additional business opportunities.</li> <li>Sell Lenovo Soutions</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Excellent telephone prospecting skills</li> <li>Persuasive and a self-starter</li> <li>Ability to work on their own and generate prospects</li> <li>Ability to work with the manufacturer, outside reps at Connection, and other stakeholders</li> <li>Ability to translate technical information into easily understood concepts</li> <li>Current or prior experience working in the Computer Reseller Industry a MUST. CANDIDATE NEEDS TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE RESELLER INDUSTRY and HAVE WORKED IN A SIMILAR ROLE BEFORE. WE WILL ONLY CONTACT THOSE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE THE APPROPRIATE RESELLER EXPERIENCE.</li> <li>Candidates who have experience cold-calling and working with Large Enterprise Accounts are highly preferred.</li> <li>CandidateS must have experience marketing Computer products, utilizing marketing database, outbound calling and emailing, working with customers, and manufacturers.</li> <li>Candidate must be able to make good business decisions, multi task, work well under pressure and deadlines, and must be very efficient and organized.</li> </ul>
