Overview: <p>Responsibilities of the Sales Support Representative are including, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting Executive, Senior Executive and Presidential Account Managers in the day to day fulfillment of orders and resolving customer service issues on assigned accounts.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Providing support resource for the day to day transactions to allow the Account Manager time and opportunity to network through their existing accounts to expand the business.</li> <li>Minimizing problem order situations by proactively following up on order processing and customer service issues for resolution.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Candidates must have the following:</p> <ul> <li>Fluency in Word and Excel. Knowledge of JD Edwards.</li> <li>Ability to be flexible, multi-task and be able to remain 'in control' during stressful sitiations.</li> <li>Ability to make decisions in the absence of the Account Manager and assess priorities on an ongoing basis.</li> <li>Ability to respond effectively to incoming calls.</li> <li>Strong telephone skills.</li> <li>Self motivated and strong desire to succeed.</li> <li>Positive attitude, high energy and ability to multi-task.</li> <li>Associates Degree preferred or equivalent sales/working experience.</li> <li>Previous sales/customer service experience.</li> <li>Experience in the computer industry.</li> <li>High customer service orientation, good follow up and organization skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><u>Technology</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to utilize email, create a document or simple spreadsheet.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Business Knowledge</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials</li> <li>Discreet with demonstrated ability to work in a confidential executive environment using good judgment while acting as an ambassador for the company</li> <li>Customer oriented with ability to listen and anticipate needs of the customer in order to provide excellent service.</li> <li>Possess interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal/ external customers and business partners</li> <li>Analytical with the ability to identify issues and escalate to appropriate resources</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Other Behavioral Competencies</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li> <li>Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities</li> <li>Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data, systematic and rational</li> <li>Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication, in particular creating professional emails and exhibiting excellent telephone skills.</li> <li>Conceptual with ability to conceive mentally, formulate ideas, use imagination to achieve results</li> <li>Decisive with ability to make a prompt determination and substantiate decision if challenged.</li> <li>Detail oriented with item by item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy</li> <li>Intuitive with ability to perceive others' feelings and motives quickly from subtle signals</li> <li>Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> </ul>
