Overview: The Senior Vertical Alliances Manager effectively maintains and solidifies relationships with our vertical GPO partners, as well as forges new relationships with additional national GPOs, eventually leading to award. Currently the vertical markets include Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Finance.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: The Sr Manager identifies, drives and manages growth opportunities within the existing GPO partners in part by creating awareness of our contracts within the walls of the GPO organizations as well as externally with our customers. The Sr Mgr works with existing GPOs, GPO members and Sales to create exclusive partnership opportunities and sales force engagement opportunities. The successful Senior Vertical Alliances Manager ensures positive responses to all GPO proposals in addition to delivering new contract opportunities that will support continued growth within the Vertical Segments.
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in product and/or channel management</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Adminstration, Marketing or similar principle preferred</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet.</li> <li>Working knowledge of CRM tools with ability to search and update customer accounts</li> <li>Proficient with expense management tools such as Concur with ability to book travel and track expenses</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Business Development with ability to create new lines of business</li> <li>Negotiation skills with ability to secure best purchasing agreement for customers and company</li> <li>Strong understanding of and working knowledge of the value added technology industry</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Healthcare and other industry purchasing vehicles and organizations in verticals such as Retail, Manufacturing and Finance</li> <li>Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication</li> <li>Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present professional demonstrations</li> <li>Excellent written communication skills with ability to compose professional business communications via email, letter, and proposals</li> <li>Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization</li> <li>Judgment with ability to formulate opinions, compare and decide with good sense</li> <li>Good listening skills with ability to receive information completely and understand what is being said</li> <li>Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> <li>Perceptive with ability to understand the needs and values of others</li> <li>Supportive mentor with ability to guide and develop team members</li> </ul>
