Overview: Working under the general supervision of the Manager, Inside Solution Architects (MISA), the Inside Solutions Architect (ISA) provides pre-sale technical consulting to advise and recommend technology solutions of moderate to advanced complexity to clients, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: The ISA works directly with account executives to engage with clients. The ISA assesses the client needs utilizing business systems analysis and designs a solution that fits the functional requirements of the client. The ISA, as a solution provider, exercises discretion and independent judgement in decision making during the design of the solution, considering pricing which meets the client's budgetary requirements. The ISA strategizes with their assigned sales team on IT solution opportunities. The ISA acquires and maintains various technical certifications pertaining to their technology specialty areas.
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must have minimum 6 or more years of experience in a technical sales role or in a pre-sales support role recommending IT product solutions to clients, preferably selling or recommending Networking solutions</li> <li>Excellent understanding of Networking concepts and their relevant application including current pre-sale IT certifications focused on Networking technologies</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and negotiation skills</li> <li>Proven experience managing projects and delivering expectations, both internally and with clients</li> <li>Proven success at working collaboratively with sales and internal colleagues to solve technical problems High aptitude to stay current and train on related technology areas</li> <li>Articulate with ability to clearly demonstrate the value proposition to the customer</li> <li>Adept at providing technical solutions based on customer needs per the practice area</li> <li>Analytical with ability to assess the customer's business systems requirements</li> <li>Multi-tasker, with high energy, and excels in a fast-paced, dynamic call center environment.</li> <li>Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies</li> <li>Self-motivated, results-driven and excellent time management skills</li> <li>Solid understanding of technologies, partners and solutions in the IT datacenter environment</li> <li>Work experience at a technology manufacturer/vendor is a plus</li> <li>Higher education such as a Master's degree is a plus</li> <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Cisco WebEx and relevant internal business systems</li> <li>Up to 10% travel nationally</li> </ul>
