Overview: <p>Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Shipping &amp; Receiving, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Supervisor Maintenance provides direct supervision and assistance to maintenance technicians, cleaning staff, and vendors that support, expand or change facility and material handling equipment related requests for the Distribution Center.<br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><br />Staff Management</span><br /><br />Supervises and assists maintenance technicians and cleaning staff supporting D.C., specifically in work assignments priority, alignment of tasks, project requirements, vendors, inventory, and materials to successfully accomplish goals.<br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Maintenance Projects</span><br /><br />Consults with internal Connection management members to gather requirements and solution projects to meet their objectives. Establishes project plans and assignments to the skilled labor resources to complete projects.<br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Compliance Standards</span><br /><br />Administrative tasks including coaching, counseling, timekeeping, performance appraisals, and skill development of direct reports. Establishes safety work standards and monitors for compliance. Improves self-development as necessary to support changing legislation, equipment, and business conditions<br /><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Oversees Inspections</span><br /><br />Oversees inspection of facilities and material handling equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and law. Integrates into maintenance standards and work assignments.</p>

Requirements: <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Education and Experience</span></em><br /><br />Degree requirements: High School or equivalency<br /><br /><strong>Major if applicable: </strong><br /><strong>Certifications, Licenses, or Registrations required if any</strong>: Vocational and/or certified professional training related to maintenance of facilities, material handling equipment.<br /><br />Minimum years of career experience to qualify for the role: 3<br /> <br />Includes a minimum of 2 year(s) of work experience in progressively responsible roles in industrial maintenance or commercial construction environment as a lead or supervisor.<br /><br />Total years of career experience to be fully proficient: 6
