Overview: The Configuration Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Config Lab at the Wilmington Distribution Center. &nbsp;This includes developing direct reports through individual coaching, yearly performance appraisals and on-floor management, as well as ensuring continuous improvement of our current lab in the areas of manpower, techniques, procedures and processes.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: The Configuration Supervisor also communicates with various departments regarding the status of orders, gives direction to direct reports on problem orders and provides feedback to direct reports on the quality of their work in accordance with ISO 9001:2011 standards.&nbsp; This is a 2nd shift supervisory position. The employees who report to this supervisor work 3pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday, with overtime &amp; weekend work as necessary.
Requirements: <p>Associates degree or higher, in Electronics, IT or Business Management</p> <p>Experience working in a technical work environment</p> <p>Proven leadership experience in a high volume distribution operation.</p> <p>Highly developed organizational, supervisory, analytical and problem solving skills.&nbsp;</p> <p>Strong written and verbal communication with ability to work in a team environment with a wide variety of individuals in sales, production, and support positions as well as direct contact with outside partners.</p> <p>Organizational skills with ability to work under pressure created by handling multiple projects under a variety of deadlines while maintaining professional composure.</p> <p>Knowledge of ISO 9001:2011 is a plus</p> <p>Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work with calculations and formulas.</p> <p>Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Visio, Power Point, Project and Access.</p> <p>Ability to apply independent judgment and discretion.</p>
