Overview: <div id="field2_left" class=""> <div class="content" data-ng-bind-html="field.content | trustAsHtml"> <p>The Business Development Manager, Global (BDMG) works independently with little or no direct supervision under the guidance of the Director, GlobalServe Solutions Enterprise utilizing independent judgment and discretion in the selection, development, and coordination of methods within a broad framework. The BDMG, as a field-based position, is primarily responsible for identifying and generating new business. The Business Development Manager's overall responsibilities include meeting or exceeding revenue and GP targets; prospecting and developing accounts through a strategic and consultative approach; and developing relationships with our strategic business partners/vendors to help grow key/focus accounts. The BDM presents to all levels of client management including C level executives at a strategic level and may represent GlobalServe at customer/vendor events.</p> </div> </div>

Requirements: <p><em>The minimum skills and/or competencies required to be successful in the position are listed below.</em></p> <p><strong><u>Technology</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create complex spreadsheets using formulas, including v-lookup, and pivot tables.</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word to included advanced formatting, creating spreadsheets to include the use of a macro.</li> <li>Working knowledge of CRM and other sales software tools</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and solutions</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Business</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Adept at proactively finding business opportunities within the existing customer base</li> <li>Understanding inside sales strategies and upselling for upgrades and other add on products</li> <li>Customer-oriented with ability to listen to and anticipate the needs of the customer</li> <li>Extensive Sales experience with an emphasis on developing new customer accounts.</li> <li>Strategic sales skills with the ability to exceed sales goals</li> <li>Business analysis skills with the ability to understand the customer's business environment</li> </ul>
