Overview: <p>The technical sales executive is focused on driving sales around the data center and 3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;platform related solutions for Enterprise accounts.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prospects targeted Data Center and 3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;platform opportunity-rich accounts; proactively addresses the market to achieve/exceed sales quota</li> <li>Effectively penetrates and drives solutions within targeted accounts and expands penetration in existing accounts.</li> <li>Manages accounts accordingly and negotiating favorable terms</li> <li>Drive partner field engagement to address whitespace opportunities</li> <li>Ability to develop, deliver, and maintain clear messaging and representing 'why Connection' to our valued partners and our clientele.</li> <li>Provide forecasting detail to sales and/or specific partners, actively participates in sales VP dashboard calls providing sales and deal visibility, timing on closure, and other sales-related detail.</li> <li>Plan and implement sales programs for one or more of the company's products and services/ solutions lines.</li> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -136px; top: -20.0028px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5 years of career experience</li> <li>Total years of career experience in order to be fully proficient: 15</li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Communications, or Marketing.</li> <li>Pre-sales technical and/or sales certifications in data center-related technologies or manufacturers (eg: VMware, EMC, Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, HP EG, Dell ESG)</li> <li>Technical sales experience needed in Data Center and related '3rd platform' technologies (mobile, social, big data, cloud)</li> </ul>
