Overview: <p>Oversees daily department activities and manages daily processing operations to stay within planned departmental budget per the direction of dept director.</p> <ul> <li>Ensures Refurbishment repairs are maintained with high quality to meet industry and manufacturers' standards</li> <li>Works closely with Returns Manager to maintain the workflow performance of the department.</li> <li>Identifies plans and executes to fulfill the needs of the department through teamwork to achieve customers' needs.</li> <li>Works closely with Director and Managers to provide direction and the growth strategies for the department.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Quality Control:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure quality meets the industry, manufacturers, and customers' expectations.</li> <li>Ensure all quality documentation is updated per manufactures standards.</li> </ul> <div><strong>Staff Supervision:</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>Assists technicians to perform their jobs and ensure maximum productivity.</li> <li>Assigns tasks based on technician skills and ensure they are current on training and development to meet industry and manufacturer's standards.</li> <li>Assists in the review and guidance of staff members' performance.</li> <li>Identifies training needs of the technicians.</li> <li>Ensures timekeeping and attendance of all employees are within company policies.</li> </ul> <div> <p><strong>Management Support:</strong></p> <p>Serves as back up in the event Returns Supervisor and or Config Supervisors are absent.</p> <ul> <li>Steps into work with respective Leads to ensure that departmental work is completed successfully.</li> </ul> <div> <p><strong>Planning and Reporting</strong></p> Provides for various departmental reports and data gathering as requested.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>The hours of work for this position will be 2:30 pm until 11:00 pm, with additional hours as needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div> </div> </div> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -25px; top: 25.3608px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: Education: <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science or Business Management</li> <li>Comptia A+ Certification</li> </ul> Technology Skills <ul> <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create reports with tables and charts.</li> <li>Attention to technical details with the ability to perform research on technical issues using a variety of tools.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of computer technology to better understand the needs of the department.</li> <li>The ability to find new solutions to test and improve department capabilities.</li> <li>Ability to stay on top of new technology trends.</li> </ul> Business Knowledge <ul> <li>Ability to assist Warranty Claims Administrators to outsource parts.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial controls to manage overtime.</li> <li>Complete understanding of how Refurbishment is organized and operates.</li> <li>Complete understanding of the relationship and workflow between Returns and Refurbishment.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of process and procedures of technical operations, to better organize and run the department.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.</li> </ul> Other Competencies <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage staff and respond professionally to customers.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve issues timely.</li> <li>Solid decision-making abilities that ensure quality in outcomes.</li> <li>Drive for quality with the ability to follow-up on training and development guidelines for the staff.</li> <li>A personal drive to promote teamwork.</li> </ul>
