Overview: Our client is looking for a PC Technician who can interact with technical and non-technical users understandably and concisely - while solving user and network-related technical issues. Some training MIGHT be onsite...the role is remote and comes with benefits that kick in the first of the month after your start date.
Responsibilities: <p>M-F workday, specific hours 7-4, 8-5, 9-6, etc. are flexible but it would be a typical 40-hour workweek performing help-desk and network maintenance duties.</p> <p>*****You will eventually be inserted into a three-person rotation where they will be on-call during the weekend across a 12-hour shift Saturday and Sunday.</p> <p>The on-call duty is specifically there to handle system down or can't ship/receive issues and primarily would be there to call in the calvary and then assist to troubleshoot and correct.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Warehouse familiarity is highly desired.</li> <li>Proficient with Ethernet, Wifi, and troubleshooting connection issues.</li> <li>Follow phone guided instructions from management or critical vendors.</li> <li>Troubleshoot basic network issues to assist in narrowing problem scope.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills, being able to logically work an issue to quickly come to resolution.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Some network experience (switches, troubleshooting).</li> <li>O365 Experience.</li> <li>Help Desk/Desktop support experience -- 3+ years.</li> <li>Personable/patient demeanor.</li> </ul>
