Overview: The Senior EDI Analyst provides insight, recommendations, and ongoing support for the software and processes that enable EDI processing within the ERP ecosystem. Leveraging a strong background in EDI, ERP, and B2B platforms, the Senior EDI Analyst ensures EDI operational excellence through the identification of key performance indicators (KPI's) for systems and processes to enhance internal business, customer, and partner relationships.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: &nbsp;this role provides critical analysis and best practice recommendations for the ongoing integration of EDI and ERP architectures, with an emphasis on monitoring, error reporting, recovery, and process automation. The Senior EDI Analyst also helps ensure that core EDI processing mechanisms are correctly configured, including map details and processing options, in support of all X.12 document types, and coordinates testing and production implementation of necessary changes. <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -80px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li> <li>Minimum of 7 years of career experience, which includes a minimum of 2 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in Trading Partner set-ups.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Solid understanding of standards and protocols that support an EDI infrastructure, including but not limited to; ANSI X.12 Standards for documents and transaction sets (810, 832, 846, 850, 855, 856), AS2 and VAN communication mechanisms, middleware, and service broker technology, and file transfer software.&nbsp;</li> <li></li> </ul> <strong><u>Technology</u></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and management tools as they relate to supporting and EDI ecosystem.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Business Knowledge</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with modern ERP systems and their interfaces into EDI</li> <li>Customer-oriented with ability to listen to and anticipate the needs of the customer</li> <li>Resourceful problem solver with the ability to resolve a variety of problems in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li> </ul>
