Overview: Working under the general supervision of the Manager Software Engineering, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, the Solution and Integration Architect is responsible for providing strategy, architectural innovation, and internal/external inter-system connectivity.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: The Architect works with business and technical leaders to drive our landscape to meet specific project requirements, as well as contribute to defining our long term strategic vision and roadmap. Using a variety of skills and an entrepreneurial spirit, align with business partners and peer groups to define how to best leverage existing technology investments, and integrate next-generation technologies.
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 8 years experience working in the IT industry</li> <li>IT competency include knowledge of various data and application integration technologies such as REST (Representational State Transfer), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), web services, ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), ETL (Extract Transform Load), and replication architecture and strategies.</li> <li>Self-motivated with the ability to quickly acquire an understanding of new technologies and approaches to delivering IT services</li> <li>Proven experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) implementations, ESB concepts, and B2B data transfer protocols such as XML and cXML, or EDI and X12.</li> <li>Business Systems Analysis expertise with aligning business processes with technology and infrastructure and demonstrated experience with innovative infrastructure design.</li> <li>Database management with ability to understand and manage complex data models through the conceptual, logical and physical stages.</li> <li>Relationship building with proven ability to create partnerships between vendors, business leaders, and IT teams in formulating the future state architecture.</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven excellence in collaboration with business and IT teams.</li> <li>Exposure to a wide range of foundational technology functions including server and storage virtualization, high availability, performance analysis and management, and enterprise infrastructure monitoring.</li> <li>Must be able to work in a fast paced organization utilizing a matrix approach to bringing people together into effective project teams.</li> </ul>
