Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our technical staffing division in Bloomfield, CT. We are looking for multiple&nbsp;<strong><u>Configuration Technicians</u></strong>&nbsp;who have experience setting up workstations and imaging desktops. This will start as a contract position -- with a minimum length of 3 months.</p> <p><strong><u>Shift:&nbsp;</u></strong>M-F, 8:00-5:00pm with opportunities for occasional OT</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong><u>What's in it for You:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Full health, dental, and other benefits.</li> <li>Bi-Weekly Paychecks.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Who You Are:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experienced hardware technician who has worked on Windows 10.</li> <li>Previous experience imaging desktops with SCCM.</li> <li>Able to work in a distribution/warehouse environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for packing, unpacking, and preparing components for imaging and configuration.</li> <li>Follow company-specific imaging procedures and provide troubleshooting when necessary during the imaging process.</li> <li>Complete company-specific checklists for completed hardware and inventory -- including Quality Assurance,</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -127px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>2+ years of experience with computer hardware repair and imaging.</li> <li>A+ Certification is preferred.</li> <li>Strong familiarity with Lenovo hardware.</li> <li>Knowledgeable of Active Directory and basic networking principles.</li> <li>Previous imaging experience with SCCM is a plus.</li> <li>Experienced performing configurations and following specific procedures for laptops and other hardware.</li> </ul>
