Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our technical staffing division based out of our office in Schaumburg. We are supporting a customer's Win 10 migration remotely. This position will likely require a day or two onsite training (in our Schaumburg office), and then will be a WORK FROM HOME role.</p> <p>We are looking for a&nbsp;<strong><u>Help Desk Analyst</u></strong>. This is a contract opportunity that is expected to until January.</p> <p>Shift: Wednesday (7am-4pm), Friday (7am-4pm), SAT (6am-6pm) and Sunday (6am-6pm). 40 hour workweek.</p> <p><strong><u>What we Offer:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Benefits on the first of the month following 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;day of employment.</li> <li>Bi-weekly paychecks on W-2.</li> <li>Work Shift = Possible shifts from M-Friday between the hours of 7 am-7 pm CT.</li> <li>Potentially a day or two of onsite training followed by a work-from-home schedule.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <p><strong><u>Who you are:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Someone who is comfortable delivering troubleshooting tips over the phone.</li> <li>Comfortable troubleshooting Windows 7/10.</li> <li>An excellent communicator who is looking for a short term (13 weeks) assignment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver migration steps over the phone to the end-user.</li> <li>Support will be provided over the phone.</li> <li>Provide support over the phone for basic Active Directory, printer, hardware, software, and Office 365 issues.</li> <li>Escalating issues to tier 2 and 3 teams when necessary.</li> <li>Document users/asset tags that have been completed -- keep records up to date in the ticketing system.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -40px; top: 26.6px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous experience on a help desk AND experienced doing WIN 7/10 deployments.</li> <li>Certs and degrees are preferred; though not required.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills -- ability to speak clearly and coherently.</li> <li>Previous experience providing phone support and remote technology to resolve user issues.</li> <li>Previous usage of ServiceNow is a plus.</li> </ul>
