By leveraging our strategic relationships with leading IT manufacturers and software publishers, Connection Enterprise can provide the best pricing and preferred product availability.</p> <p>The Proposal Manager coordinates and writes proposals - responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) - under strict deadlines and often with very little lead-time. The Proposal Manager creates additional documents, including RFI's, pricing proposals, and ad hoc documents for external and internal clients. The Manager interacts with Sales, Services, Finance, Legal and Marketing, facilitating communication and documentation required for the proposal. Addresses specific needs/requirements, ensuring quality and consistency in the overall document and identifies potential issues within the RFP terms and conditions. Where applicable, this position assures departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manages, coordinates, and leads RFP projects from initial receipt through RFP delivery. Leads the development, compilation, and detailed requests for proposals (RFPs) content which pertains to Connection Enterprise company information, organizational information, product-specific data, portal information, and other specific content requested by the client. Ensures the response flows and positions Connection Enterprise favorably in the response.</li> <li>Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of RFP database (Qvidian). Maintains files and logs of completed consultant and pending questionnaires. Provides data and publishes RFP metrics</li> <li>Works closely with team colleagues to suggest and implement content improvements; oversees the implementation of these improvements as necessary. Follows up on all wins and losses to ensure learnings are captured in the metrics and reported in the results</li> <li>Processes client and supplier forms</li> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned</li> </ul>
