Overview: <p>Working under minimal supervision of the Sr. Director, Technical Operations, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Senior Manager of Demand Planning is responsible for the overview and development of the Master Scheduler and Production Support. The Sr. Manager Demand Planning provides direction and development of staff, supplies sr. leadership with the operational direction regarding demand planning, forecasting, and sales and operational planning.</p> <p>The&nbsp;Senior Manager, Demand Planning will be a key member of the Operations/Supply Chain team and will be responsible for managing all activities associated with forecasting to provide the best level of service to all customers. The Senior Manager, Demand planning will work closely with the Supply Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Sales teams.</p>
Responsibilities: 25%-<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Daily Functions</span></strong><br /><br />Lead the demand planning process for TIDC and deliver accurate forecasts through data analytics in combination with coherent demand storylines. Drive continuous improvements in planning and execution. Recommend process improvements by leveraging a thorough understanding of demand trends and supply constraints.<br /><br /> <br /><br />20%-<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Technical &amp; Advanced Functions</span></strong><br /><br />Collaborate internally with TIDC Management, Supply, Sales Operations, Customer Success, and build external relationships with key accounts.<br /><br /> <br /><br />20%-<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Reporting &amp; Analytics</span></strong><br /><br />Maintain and report KPI's like forecast accuracy, in-stocks/out of stocks, on-time delivery, etc. Develop and implement capacity management strategies to manage consumer demand across multiple business units. Perform root cause analysis through exception reporting to drive greater efficiencies and results in the demand forecasting process<br /><br />15%-<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Daily Planning Functions</span></strong><br /><br />Identify new KPIs for Operations teams and functions that align with business objectives. Develop and disseminate business performance and functional dashboards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to Stakeholders / Senior Leaders Team. Address demand-related issues (in demand spikes, shifts in retention, etc.) effectively and in a timely manner<br /><br /> <br /><br />15%-<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Staff Development Functions</strong></span><br /><br />Provides guidance and support to the Master Scheduler and Department, and the TIDC Department.
