Overview: Working under minimal supervision of the Supervisor Configuration Services, referring only to exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Senior Project Coordinator functions primarily as the gatekeeper of all value services projects and develops the internal plan for executing projects within the Distribution Center by working with all associated teams. The Sr Project Coordinator is the primary liaison for the lab between Sales, Services, and all Distribution Center Departments, working closely with each area to ensure timely and successful application of services for customers' orders.
Responsibilities: The Sr Project Coordinator ensures sales teams are kept updated on the lifecycle status of all value-added services orders moving through the Distribution Center. With direction as needed from the Supervisor and Director, the Sr Project Coordinator provides overall project guidance to the other team members. The hours for this position are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with overtime as needed.&nbsp; <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: 221px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Education and Experience</span><br /><br />Degree requirements: Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience<br /><br />Major if applicable: <br />Certifications, Licenses or Registrations required, if any:<br /><br />Minimum years of career experience to qualify for role: 7<br /><br /> <br />Includes a minimum of 6 year(s) of work experience with at least 4 years in progressively responsible roles in a sales, customer service, or support environment.<br /> <br />Total years of career experience to be fully proficient: 10<br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities</span><br /><br /><em>The minimum skills and/or competencies required to be successful in the position are listed below.</em><br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Technology</span><br /> <ul> <li>Advanced Excel with ability to create charts, subtotals, pivot tables.</li> <li>Working knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) with ability to maintain orders if needed and read ETA dates from vendors required.</li> <li>Working knowledge of applications used to manage and track value added services activities (CSC-Ultriva).</li> <li>General working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Access, etc.)</li> </ul> <br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Business Knowledge</span><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Order processing with an understanding of the lifecycle of a customer order.</li> <li>Knowledge of sales organization and sales process.</li> <li>Understanding of Supply Chain Management process.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of the project coordination process, including a clear understanding of the role played by each team.</li> </ul> <br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Other Behavioral Competencies</span><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Organized with ability to multitask with competing priorities and deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with ability to converse in a professional manner with customers, ask difficult questions that are critical to project success, and question answers provided by production resources.</li> <li>Detail oriented with ability to drill down several layers to get the core issues.</li> <li>Sense of urgency during quarter end to move configuration projects through entire life cycle to shipment and to update sales management team daily knowing that each project is critical.</li> <li>Flexible in adapting to changing conditions and priorities.</li> </ul>
