Overview: Working under the direct supervision of the Manager, Renewal Programs, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Renewals Specialist initiates renewals 90/60 days in advance and provides support to sales personnel throughout the process of selling service plans and software license renewals to customers.
Responsibilities: The Specialist handles quoting to customers of their renewal options and keying orders while communicating effectively with the customer's sales representative/Account Manager.
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field.</li> <li>A minimum of three years of sales experience</li> <li>Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet.</li> <li>Skilled at internet searches, finding data on company websites.</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge of ERP system, in particular JD Edwards. </li> <li>Highly organized with ability to multi-task to process a variety of renewals.</li> <li>Driven to succeed with ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.</li> <li>Detail oriented with ability to correctly calculate quotes for a variety of products.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills with ability to work with customers from small enterprises up to large corporations.</li> <li>Works well independently and as a member of a team. </li> <li>Eager to learn new skills and accept other responsibilities as needed.</li> </ul>
