Responsibilities: What You Get To Do:<br /><br />Change the lives of those in your care! <br /><br />The Case Manger Supervisor supervises case management and counseling services for inmates/residents and their families. <ul> <li>Supervise subordinate case management and counseling staff in the performance of their duties and evaluate as prescribed by the facility and corporate policy.</li> <li>Provide for areas under supervision to be adequately staffed; fill in as needed during periods of short staffing; deliver treatment and therapeutic programs to inmate/residents.</li> <li>Communicate effectively and coherently to administration, staff, inmates/residents, visitors and the general public, particularly in situations requiring tact, diplomacy, understanding, fairness, firmness and good judgment. This includes giving information, instructions and direction, mediating disputes, advising of rights and processes and providing reliable testimony, in court and other form settings.</li> <li>Initiate and complete investigations and inquiries with accuracy.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in social or behavioral science or a closely related field preferred.</li> <li>Two years experience in human services, preferably related to correctional programs, which must include staff supervision, counseling and/or administration.</li> <li>Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the education to a maximum of two years.A valid driver's license is required.</li> <li>Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> </ul>
