Overview: <ul> <li>One of our clients in Flint is looking to fill Call Center Representative positions.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between the care Team (prescriber, medical assistant, nurse etc.), to ensure the patient has a complete understanding of their medical condition and the importance of therapy adherence, as well as ensuring the prescribed medications are obtainable and delivered to the patients timely.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: &bull;Schedule shipments to patients home or physician's office.<br />&bull;Speak with patient (or their approved authorized representative) prior to shipping medication.<br />&bull;Confirm 'ship to' address and inform patient of delivery method.<br />&bull;Reiterate prescription information and dosage with patient.<br />&bull;Ensure necessary ancillary items are included on the order.<br />&bull;Review Clinical Interview questions when applicable.<br />&bull;Counsel patient regarding therapy adherence.<br />&bull;Offer patient opportunity to speak with a nurse or pharmacist.<br />&bull;Obtain payment for amount due by patient (copay).<br />&bull;If necessary, offer patient funding assistance.<br />&bull;Obtain and update patient profile with any new insurance information.<br />&bull;Maintain accurate history notes and records in the patient profile.<br />&bull;Send Patient Status Reports to physician throughout the care process.<br />&bull;Understand the various challenges of specific diseases.<br />&bull;Report all drug adverse events.<br />&bull;Report all customer complaints.<br />&bull;Establish and maintain good relationships with physicians and healthcare teams.<br />&bull;Assist in streamlining communication with the patient, insurance companies, pharmacist, nurses, lab and other healthcare-related parties.<br />&bull;Coordinate responses and resolutions with appropriate internal and external parties.<br />&bull;Perform all tasks in a safe manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as state and federal laws.
