Overview: <br /> <br />Establishes and maintains effective relationships with youth, demonstrates appropriate boundaries, and ensures appropriate care and supervision.<br />
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Demonstrate effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.</li> <li>Maintain vigilant supervision of youth placed in 24/7 care.</li> <li>Actively engage and encourage youth toward their treatment goals and in daily living.</li> <li>Regularly transport youth to appointments, recreation activities, court, family visits, etc.</li> <li>Prepare timely and accurate documentation.</li> <li>Understand and retain instructions for complex tasks.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /><u><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></u><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">:<br /><br /></span></strong> <ul> <li>Compassionate caregivers wanted to supervise children and youth in short term shelter.</li> <li>Experience preferred in working with youth, (parenting your own kids qualifies), coaching, mentoring, and childcare.</li> <li>Must care about the safety and well-being of youth, and be able to provide structure, consistency, and kindness.</li> <li>Working with children in a licensed facility requires a background check.&nbsp;</li> <li>One year of child welfare experience working with children and/or adolescents.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><u><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></u><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">:<br /><br /></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.</li> <li>Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver&rsquo;s license.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Salary Range:&nbsp;</strong>$42,640 - $46,904<br /><br />The posted pay scale for this position serves as a general disclosure.
