Overview: <p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;">The National Account Manager works closely with Sales &amp; Marketing to communicate and sell the company&rsquo;s products and programs to designated account. Manages all activities related to customer sales and relationships.</p>
Responsibilities: <p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><u>Account Management (60%):</u></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Develop strategies &amp; objectives for each assigned retailer account, considering the impact to broader channels.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Develop tactical programs that achieve maximum sales volumes/margins, while optimizing spending.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Develop in-depth understanding of customers, customer systems and cross-functional teams within customers to develop strategic customer programs.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Work collaboratively with Product Development, Marketing, Forecasting, and other cross-functional teams.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Create sales presentations, conduct line reviews with customers.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Assist in the development of annual sales budgets.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Develop annual allowances budget; track spending monthly.</li> </ul> <p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><u>Business Development (35%):</u></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Drive multi-channel strategy at customers and execute key initiatives to grow business.</li> </ul> <p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><u>Other (5%):</u></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Follow internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle Inc. and Dorel Sports.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Contribute to the success of Pacific Cycle Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.</li> <li style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;">Model the Dorel behaviors and support the Dorel Sports business strategy.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales or related field.</li> <li>5 or more years of relevant experience selling consumer goods with proven track record of successful sales results.</li> <li>Specific experience calling on Target required.</li> <li>Leadership experience including proven success managing and developing a team.</li> <li>Ability to work well with cross functional groups and customers.</li> <li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally.</li> <li>Must be able to communicate on the telephone, and maneuver around Pacific Cycle products for sales presentations and other product related tasks.</li> <li>In addition to traditional marketing skills, must understand social media and digital marketing.</li> </ul> <p><u><strong>Beneficial Qualifications</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Experience with P&amp;L management preferred.</li> <li>SAP knowledge.</li> <li>Experience working with Asian vendors.</li> </ul> <p><u><strong>Environmental Factors</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>A large percentage of time is spent in an office environment.</li> </ul> <p><u>Essential Physical Demands and Frequency</u></p> <ul> <li>Standing:&nbsp; Infrequently.</li> <li>Driving:&nbsp; Infrequently.</li> <li>Sitting:&nbsp; Frequently.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Bending:&nbsp; Infrequently.</li> <li>Lifting:&nbsp; Infrequently.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Twisting:&nbsp; Infrequently.</li> <li>Other:&nbsp; Must be able to use a computer and view a monitor for extended periods of time.</li> <li>Other:&nbsp; Must be able to travel to factories and account locations throughout US and internationally.</li> </ul>
