Come join our team!!!<br /><br />Our Vacaville, CA distribution center is looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator that can work a flexible mid to evening shift. <br /><br />Starting salary is $31,886.40 annually with awesome full benefits and wonderful perks!<br /><br />Below are some of the duties and qualifications of the Shipping Coordinator:
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare shipping orders for processing as received by Transportation Department</li> <li>Schedule appointments for carriers</li> <li>Process shipping orders per system requirements and established departmental procedures</li> <li>Research and provide proof of delivery claims as requested</li> <li>Promptly check-in truck drivers as they arrive</li> <li>Serve as back-up for Logistics Coordinator as needed</li> <li>Complete special projects as assigned</li> <li>Perform routine clerical duties to support the department</li> <li>Follow internal controls (SOX requirements) and all other company policies and procedures</li> <li>Contribute to the success of Pacific Cycle by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Minimum Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong><br /><br />High School diploma along with a minimum of 2 years of clerical support experience working with detailed information, with at least six months experience working in a shipping/receiving environment. Must be able to effectively prioritize workload and be able to work with minimal supervision. Must also be proficient with MS Word and Excel<br /><br /><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Qualifications<br /><br /></strong>Associates Degree along with 2-3 years of shipping/receiving experience. Must be able to effectively prioritize workload and be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be proficient with MS Word an Excel. Previous experience working within an integrated ERP system; such as SAP would be beneficial.<br /><br /><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong><br /><br />The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
