Our culture is as fun and lively as the lifestyle brands we represent.<br /><br />Come enjoy the ride. <br /><br />Our Rancho Cucamonga, CA warehouse is looking for an experienced 1st shift Quality Assurrance Technician. <br /><br /> <br /><br /><strong>Job Summary</strong><br /><br />Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, oversee and participate in the shipping, storing, receiving, and inventory control of product. Serves as a lead to hourly warehouse employees with a focus on training and providing work direction and guidance through coaching and timely feedback. Operate forklift and/or various equipment to load, unload, move, locate, stack and count product.
Responsibilities: <p align="center"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Leadership:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead hourly warehouse employees by hands-on coaching, training and teaching procedures and processes.</li> <li>Drives positive employee relations and ensures effective communication with employees on expectations, opportunities and ways in which they may become more effective in their work.</li> <li>Insure floor associates are maintain productive performance up to provided standards.</li> <li>Partner with inbound and outbound coordinators on loads.</li> <li>Issue and manage work assignments.</li> <li>Matches and records information on shipping labels to delivery.</li> <li>Delegates orders to the labeling line teams to process for shipping.</li> <li>Attaches labels or tags and marks materials on boxes.</li> <li>Sets up and process labeling machines and monitors their output.</li> <li>Makes minor routine adjustments to labeling machines.</li> <li>Returns all completed paper work to the shipping office.</li> <li>Reports any damage product or any discrepancies on product.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of SAP/warehouse system.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Warehouse Equipment Operation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Safely and efficiently operate forklift and all other specified equipment in and around the warehouse.</li> <li>Loads and unloads shipments.</li> <li>Transports product to and from dock</li> <li>(Are they required to train and or recertify employees on the lift equipment?)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Secondary Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <p><strong>Manual Product Handling:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pick, pull, and label product for shipping.</li> <li>Label product in assigned location.</li> <li>Wrap product for transport to designated areas for shipping.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Adheres to quality and customer service standards set by the company</li> <li>Knowledge of the scanning process, including handheld scanning</li> <li>Operates parcel computer</li> <li>Completing all required paperwork</li> <li>Read and identify product and locations.</li> <li>Read, understand, use and follow information on orders, equipment, and procedures.</li> <li>Maintain and effectively communicate the necessity of a clean safe work environment.</li> <li>Follow internal controls and company policies. Requirements: <strong>Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li> <li>Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.</li> <li>Able to learn SAP program.</li> <li>Ability to read and write numbers, letters and general business documents.</li> <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.</li> <li>1-year previous forklift experience.</li> <li>Experience leading a team through communication and affirmative actions.</li> <li>Excellent attendance record.</li> <li>Skilled in verbal and (written?) communication in both English and Spanish.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Environmental Factors</strong><br /><br />Exposure to weather and temperatures range from cold to hot.<br />Noise level can be moderate to high throughout the facility.<br />
