Overview: <p><u><strong>Job Summary</strong></u></p> <p>The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting digital marketing initiatives, including digital channel reporting, website testing and optimization, email channel planning and implementation, strategic SEO, as well as other various digital channel needs.&nbsp; You will be responsible for performance tracking and digital project management and execution working with both internal teams and external agencies in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><u><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities</strong></u></p> <p><u>Website Maintenance and Optimization&nbsp; (20%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Optimize site through content, page layouts, and taxonomy to provide exceptional user experience and performance</li> <li>Proactively offer strategic campaign recommendations across all digital channels</li> <li>Document, troubleshoot, and resolve website performance</li> <li>Assist in the development of digital assets to support marketing activities</li> <li>Provide assistance with product and content updates across brand websites</li> </ul> <p><u>Email Campaign Execution&nbsp; (20%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Develop and coordinate promotional email campaigns, including strategy, set-up, segmentation, tracking, and reporting</li> <li>Plan and coordinate the seasonal updates of triggered and transactional email campaigns</li> <li>Optimize email campaigns through segmentation and testing</li> <li>Set-up and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and campaign level reports&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>SEO&nbsp; (15%)</u></p> <p>Under the leadership of the Digital Marketing Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Drive increased web traffic through ongoing strategic organic search optimization</li> <li>Assist Digital Marketing Manager in developing and implementing SEO strategies that will increase online presence and drive organic growth across brand websites</li> <li>Unique content creation to support SEO across relevant digital platforms including category, product and site content.</li> </ul> <p><u>Tracking and Reporting &nbsp;(25%)</u></p> <p>Under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Gather metrics and information from digital analytics platforms to track: <ul> <li>Sales and activity across all online marketing channels</li> <li>E-mail campaigns</li> <li>Homepages and landing pages</li> <li>Trend reporting of key site metrics</li> </ul> </li> <li>Assist in developing and distributing monthly reports and insights on web traffic, trends and insights, and campaign performance&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><u>Online Channel Support (15%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Recommend and conduct tests to enhance ROI and online customer experience</li> <li>Multichannel and Departmental Support <ul> <li>Set-up and coordinate tracking codes across digital channels</li> <li>Actively participate in cross functional team meetings to assist with product, sales, and marketing teams to accurately reflect brand strategy across digital channels</li> <li>Develop and document processes to improve work flow efficiencies</li> <li>Coordinate best practice sharing and project coordination with colleagues across the Dorel Sports teams</li> <li>Work closely with developer partners to effectively maintain and enhance digital websites&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><u>Other Duties Assigned (5%)</u></p> <ul> <li>Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.</li> <li>Contributes to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
