Overview: Lead the global public relations strategy and implementation for Cycling Sports Group (CSG) and its brands &ndash; Cannondale, GT and Charge and Fabric, ensuring that communications are aligned with strategic brand direction.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead the global public relations strategy and implementation for CSG global brands, ensuring that communications are aligned with strategic brand direction.</li> <li>Leads global influencer strategy, identification and management.</li> <li>Focuses on global consumer brand PR, global endemic and non-endemic brand PR, global sports marketing communications and the global social media strategy for each brand.</li> <li>Develops and implements, in partnership with the regional execution teams and global brand teams, a global public relations strategy for each brand.</li> <li>Develops and implements, in partnership with the regional execution teams and global brand teams, a global social media strategy for each brand.</li> <li>Develops and implements, in partnership with the regional execution teams, a global sports marketing communications strategy for each brand.</li> <li>Prepares plans and monitors and measures progress and budget guidelines.</li> <li>Manages the global PR budget and global PR agency relationship(s)</li> <li>Acts as lead brand spokespersons, maintaining relationships with key endemic and non-endemic members of the press.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manages processes and policies to ensure global coordination and integration of endemic and consumer PR, including media training, media tracking and reporting and setting KPIs and benchmarks.</li> <li>Highly involved in new product launches, working with product development, marketing and senior management to ensure the most effective strategies possible are used and that products are exhibited in line with corporate strategy and brand direction.</li> <li>Provides crisis communications support.</li> <li>Identifies and informs management of vulnerabilities in strategies and corporate approach that could be portrayed negatively in the media.&nbsp; Suggests mitigation plans.</li> <li>Develop on-going relationships with allied organizations.</li> <li>Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information at all times.</li> <li>Develops complete understanding of product and markets served.</li> <li>Travels as needed to marketing/PR related events.</li> <li>Follows internal controls and company policies as set by Company and job function.</li> <li>Contributes to the success of Company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.</li> </ul>
