Overview: <p>We&rsquo;re looking for a detail-oriented&nbsp;<em>Digital Print Cut Sheet Operator</em>&nbsp;to bring print projects to life. In this role, you&rsquo;ll set up, operate, and troubleshoot advanced printing equipment like laser, inkjet, and xerographic machines, ensuring every job meets top-quality standards. As a&nbsp;<em>Digital Print Cut Sheet Operator</em>, you&rsquo;ll be at the heart of our print production, operating high-tech digital printers to create high-quality finished materials. You&rsquo;ll set up jobs, adjust image alignment, monitor quality and troubleshoot issues to keep production running smoothly. Attention to detail, problem-solving and a passion for precision are key to excelling in this role.</p> <p>Shift: 11a-7p</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Operate digital printing equipment including, laser, inkjet, xerographic, and offset duplicating printers.</li> <li>Review and interpret job instructions to prepare jobs for production.</li> <li>Prepare, edit and impose digital files for printing using image editing software.</li> <li>Set up and release jobs from print queue, ensuring all specifications are correct.</li> <li>Adjust image position, perforations, folds, and other settings to meet production standards.</li> <li>Monitor image quality and ensure printed products are accurate and high-quality.</li> <li>Operate and troubleshoot printer-integrated booklet makers and other finishing tools.</li> <li>Maintain daily production logs and delivery manifests to track workflow.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain inventory levels of printer supplies and consumables.</li> <li>Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and resolve production challenges.</li> <li>Keep production running smoothly with occasional team tasks or auxiliary assignments.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalency.</li> <li>2 years of machine operation or printing experience.</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br /><br /></div> <ul> <li>2 years of experience operating digital printing equipment.</li> <li>1 year of experience with file editing using Adobe Acrobat Pro.</li> <li>Previous experience with Microsoft Office products.</li> <li>Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and adjusting equipment.</li> </ul>
