Overview: The Venue Sales Associate will assist in growing the new customer base by prospecting and developing relationships within target accounts such as investment banks, private equity firms, law firms, accounting advisors and corporations.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Daily prospecting activity within target accounts such as investment banks, private equity firms, law firms, accounting advisors.</li> <li>Participate in the sales process from lead generation to qualification to close.</li> <li>Execute strategic plan within designated territory to generate revenue.</li> <li>Establish a strong and consistent cadence of in-person meetings, organize networking events and attend conferences to improve brand and client exposure to the Venue product.</li> <li>Foster new relationships through outbound efforts and establish positive relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.</li> <li>Develop a plan and prioritize your time to focus on high impact activities to achieve key performance indicators.</li> <li>Cross collaboration with Reps from other areas of DFIN to leverage existing relationships and ensure that all appropriate service offerings are presented to target clients.</li> <li>Work closely with Product, Marketing, Service Delivery, Business Development and both the Venue and GCM sales team to ensure client happiness by serving as the voice of the customer.</li> <li>Update Salesforce daily to track activity, client and product insights, account coverage and sales pipeline.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.</li> <li>6 to 24 months of general business experience.</li> <li>Desire to build a professional career in sales.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills: Ability to engage prospects with clear, concise, and persuasive communication.</li> <li>Strong listening skills: Actively listen to understand customer needs and pain points.</li> <li>Persistence and resilience: Ability to handle rejection and consistently follow up with prospects.</li> <li>Sales acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles, including objection handling and closing techniques.</li> <li>Technical proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.</li> <li>Time management skills: Effectively manage leads and prioritize high impact activities.</li> </ul> <br /><br />
