Responsibilities: This is a night shift position, which requires drivers to conduct meet and turns with drivers from other service centers.<br /><br /><strong>Responsibilities at Domicile:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>report to work at the scheduled time.</li> <li>perform pre-trip on all assigned equipment.</li> <li>check and verify trailer numbers against manifests.</li> <li>verify hazardous material paperwork and placards are correct if applicable.</li> <li>Scale trailers as required.</li> <li>report any delays in detail.</li> </ul> <strong>Responsibilities at Each Stop:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>notify dispatch upon arrival for the next assignment.</li> <li>break sets/connect sets.</li> <li>if at meet and turn point, trailers must be verified against the manifest.</li> <li>sign in and out at each location.</li> </ul> <strong>Completion of Trip:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>break up inbound sets, dock, or stage in designated area.</li> <li>perform a post-trip inspection.</li> </ul>
