<h2>Detroit Achievement Academy is a free public charter school currently serving kindergarten through sixth grade students.&nbsp;</h2> <p>We at Detroit Achievement Academy want to shake things up a bit. We have a grand vision for what education can look like and are excited to be creating it in the great city of Detroit. We are using the best educational model in the country, Expeditionary Learning,&nbsp;and are committed to our students, their families, and to our neighborhood. We believe that all students can achieve at high levels and that it is our responsibility to support them in an intense and holistic way. Full-Time // Part-Time

Overview: The full-time and part-time bus driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school every day. The bus driver is expected to accurately follow the morning and afternoon bus route in a timely, and safe manner
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Report to designated school 15 minutes prior to starting the morning and/or afternoon route</li> <li>Implement the daily pre-check (list found on michigan.gov/transportation) for all busses</li> <li>Maintain a calm, quiet, safe environment on the busses at all times</li> <li>Actively and appropriately respond to student misconduct</li> <li>Responsible for filling out Bus Violation forms daily, and submitting them to the building leader</li> <li>Actively and appropriately engage with families on a daily basis</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Maintain a bi-weekly timecard with correct hours and total</li> <li>Submit timecard to supervisor on a bi-weekly basis (by 5:00pm Friday)</li> <li>Maintain at least a &frac14; tank of gas in the busses at all times ○ Use designated credit card to fill up bus gas tanks on a weekly/bi-weekly basis</li> </ul> <strong>Professional Responsibilities</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Maintain a CDL with school bus driver certifications</li> <li>Attend Wayne RESA training for Beginning School Bus Drivers</li> </ul>
