Our Company is looking for long-term employees that we can invest in and grow with as we pursue our mission of being the premier commercial truck dealer group.</p> <p><strong>I.</strong>&nbsp;<strong>General Job Description</strong></p> <p>This position will be responsible for assisting with customer relations for the Parts Department with the objective of exceeding gross margin and net profitability goals.</p> <p>The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist in day-to-day operations of Parts Department including ordering stock for customers, helping with credit returns (CWs), daily cash reconciliation, inventory control, and reduction of obsolescence.</li> <li>Assess daily work operations to enhance the department's efficiency and productivity.</li> <li>Work closely with Parts Manager to ensure the timely ordering, stocking and receiving of shop parts.</li> <li>Manage customer relation issues in a professional, productive, and prompt manner.</li> <li>Utilize team-based approach with Truck Sales and PacLease to enhance customer retention and establish new accounts.</li> <li>Respond to sales calls and customer counter visits thoroughly and professionally.</li> <li>Utilize computer business systems and electronic catalogues to research parts information.</li> <li>Provide customer pricing and availability (in-stock or emergency order).</li> <li>Process parts invoices and obtain payment.</li> <li>Process returned items by inspecting items, returning payment, issuing credit, re-shelving items, and returning items to suppliers.</li> <li>Maintain an attractive parts retail display area.</li> <li>Enhance job knowledge by continually participating in online training modules and supplier training on new product features, advantages, and benefits.</li> <li>Manage customer requests for parts warranty and administer according to supplier procedures.</li> <li>Contact customers (telemarketing) regarding parts promotional opportunities.</li> <li>Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.</li> </ul>
