Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Regularly clean the shop environment, including disposal of hazardous chemicals in appropriate containers</li> <li>Follow OSHA approved procedures for a providing a safe work environment</li> <li>Assist parts warehouse personnel with delivery and receipt of heavy duty truck parts</li> <li>Perform post repair road tests on heavy duty trucks</li> <li>Shuttle trucks to and from customer locations</li> <li>Shuttle drivers as needed</li> <li>Assist technicians as needed</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>6-12 months&rsquo; previous work experience in a heavy duty truck shop environment</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend both written and verbal instructions and policies/procedures</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to communicate with vendors, customers, and other PTC employees</li> <li>Positive attitude is a must</li> <li>Class B CDL preferred</li> </ul> <strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong><br /><br />The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
