Responsibilities: <br /><br />&bull; Regularly clean the shop environment, including disposal of hazardous chemicals in appropriate containers<br /><br />&bull; Follow OSHA approved procedures for a providing a safe work environment<br /><br />&bull; Assist parts warehouse personnel with delivery and receipt of heavy duty truck parts<br /><br />&bull; Perform post repair road tests on heavy duty trucks<br /><br />&bull; Shuttle trucks to and from customer locations<br /><br />&bull; Shuttle drivers as needed<br /><br />&bull; Assist technicians as needed<br /><br />
Requirements: <br />&bull; 6-12 months&rsquo; previous work experience in a heavy duty truck shop environment<br /><br />&bull; Ability to read and comprehend both written and verbal instructions and policies/procedures<br /><br />&bull; Attention to detail<br /><br />&bull; Ability to communicate with vendors, customers, and other PTC employees<br /><br />&bull; Positive attitude is a must<br /><br />&bull; Class B CDL preferred<br /><br /><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong><br /><br />The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
